Make a tut on nugget the kitten plssss
Hellllooooo??? 8:07 The 55 inches you mention, is that the width of the Shawl?
Cant even do the first thing😭😭
This one is cheap but just get urself a woobles 30 doller kit its great for beginners this yarn and kit sucks
What size pillow is this?
I'm a tall guy and I really wanna make this shawl for myself but at 1m60 wide, it's gonna look tiny compared to my +1m90 armspan. Any advice on how to scale it up ? If I wanna add one or two more of those color rows, how would it affect the starting chain ? Edit : I ended up working out the math. Do exactly the same as the pattern (same starting chain) but add an other row of colour (made up of the 3 DC rows) and your shawl is now 1m80 long. Add yet an other row and it's 2m long. I'm gonna do a 7 layers design for it to be 2m long and cover my arms. Love you all.
Im finally able to grasp the magic ring method. Thank you! Whew 😂 and I gave up a long time ago. Glad I watched your video for sure. Now the yarn on the other hand, sucks!
I can't do one simple thing as to start the damn crotchet
I am still stuck on the first step and she goes to fast
This tutorial is not helping
You can easily crochet onto fabric that lacks a hem (truly old school version 😂) by either hand sewing over rolled and ironed fabric with backstitch (embroidery stitch) or simply using slip stitch with a steel crochet hook. Once you hand sew or slip stitch the edge of fabric close, you can either join a knitted or crocheted lace border by attaching the lace to the hand sewn stitches. Alternatively, you can crochet onto the fabric using the backstitch or slip stitch as the foundation for adding crochet stitches as you mentioned in the video. I read about this in "Lace from the Attic" (1998 book by Nancie Wiseman, page 21), the author encourages directly inserting a steel crochet hook into the rolled fabric edge and make a kind of "fabric surface" type of slip stitch to form a hem (it works well with fine steel hooks such as 0.60 mm/size 70 or smaller crochet thread up to 1.25 mm/size 10 crochet thread). Both hand sewn backstitch and slip stitch methods work well. I personally prefer using fabric without a hem because I frequently make round projects (doilies, table place settings) and I need to cut the fabric into the right shape myself. You can also buy ready made thin cloth towels and handkerchiefs for adding a lace border at Handy Hands (tatting thread online store).
What great videoes. Ive made 2 of these already. On my third now. Very very helpful. Thank you

Whelp, that’s almost 16min of time I won’t get back…
Thank you!
I had a hard time on the first step. It felt like I was a slave getting whipped by 12 white slave owners with thorny whips that are on fire. Don’t buy unless you wanna recreate 1852
This is exactly what I have been trying to find.
I get to the end of my first row but I keep coming to not being able to do the last stitches..I've recounted and redone this multiple times so now I've resigned to just stopping a couple stitches short and doing the last 2 single crochets in the last stitch and continuing.. What am I doing wrong?
please you need start in beginning not the middle do this again or show it with another video or another way. People doesnt understand ,
HI, I'm following your tutorial to the letter but for some reason I'm just not getting the poppy leaf shape. I've included the single stitch after the groups of two in each hole but its not pulling it in to get the nice shape. Any suggestions please.
Too fast.
Yeah definitely not for beginners, got me rewatching this for 2 straight hours to get the first step down
Pattern link I think is broken. Takes me to a diff unrelated page
I have never used the long tail cast-on method before, how long should the tail be?
I had three mental breakdowns doing this and that not even past the magic ring
Watching the video, first demonstrated stitch states "pattern calls for extreme DECREASE" , then shows instructor INCREASING the 1st stitch. Correcting this would make the first demonstration make sense. Thank-you!
What is measurement of each granny square please !!!
Oh my goodness I just finished the new season!! 😍😍
Oh how I want to shout "😮 please shut up I just want her to continue browsing through the store cuz I'm just falling in love with all the them beautiful colors and big sumptuous loads of Caron cake 😅😂😂😂.(Stephanie wasn't trying hear you either)anyhoo I'm just getting into the Brighton series and I can't😮🥴🤦🏾 function doing any crocheting 🧶 when this series is on.🤣🤣🤣
Just get it all. You know you will anyway 😂
Hello! I was a beginner when I bought this kit and the video is confusing! So here's some help to clarify some things she doesn't fully explain. When she says to increase the amount of stitches with each increase row, you are adding one more stitch in between every time. For example, if you just did a single crochet, single crochet increase round, the next round will have two single crochets and an increase, then the next will have 3 and an increase, then 4 and an increase, and so on. The body and head may try to curve the wrong way and make it so you're stitching from the inside of the head or body. This makes it 10 times harder than it needs to be. Turn it "inside out" so that way the stitches you're looking at while you work are on the outside of the shape. Also, the amount of stitches you end up with are ALWAYS going to be divisible by 6 because your magic ring started with 6 stitches. (Except for the body on round 12.) For increase and decrease rounds, are always going to end each round on an increase or decrease. To fasten off at the end of something is to yarn over your hook, pull it through the one loop on your hook, tighten it, cut your tail, and then pull that tail all the way through your loop. Also, the beak pattern only looks good from a side profile. If you want a cuter beak, make the tail pattern from rounds 1-4 or 1-5 and then sew it on. You can make two of them if you want a top and bottom beak. This kit is NOT AT ALL BEGINNER FRIENDLY and I learned that the hard way, but I still made the bird successfully despite this. And it really made me think I must be doing a good job if I can pull this off. You can, too! If all else fails, look up explanations on what each term means on UA-cam, watch a short tutorial on each thing, and then use the pattern by itself using what you've learned with a larger yarn and hook. Or, honestly, a small yarn that doesn't split like crazy with your current hook will also work. Do pay attention to what this tutorial says about round 8 when it comes to the body though bc that round is confusing. I watched Yarn Society's video yo figure out how to fasten off and they have a lot of helpful tips on crochet. I hope this is helpful! I legitimately LOVE crocheting so much now, even though I struggled with this pattern for a full two weeks and now I'm getting paid to make stuff. Don't let this kit discourage you from learning how to crochet, it's very fun and therapeutic and meditative and I would love nothing more than for others to get enjoyment out of it the way I do. And you're doing an incredible job. I know you're probably getting frustrated, but that's OKAY. This is a difficult kit to use and you're trying your best. Keep going ❤❤❤
been trying for 3 hours. can’t even make the first leg…
❤❤❤❤
Can this pattern be done in knitting?
Your videos are so clean and easy! Thank you.
Thank you for your response.
Im not sure this is a “beginner” kit you need to know the bare basics, i think the tutorial is fine
can you do eddy the bear next 🙏 im having trouble 😭
I have the same question as @MsMien7 - how do you handle the unworked stitches in the criss-cross section? The pattern does not indicate what to do with the unworked stitches, and it is not addressed in the video. I will try a plain knit stitch and see what happens.
I'm gonna try this tonight! 😍🙏💕
you’re so stupift
Can you please show a hat or beanie using this pattern??
Beautiful work my dear, wish I could work my needles like you, that would be like an old dog learning a new trick.?❤❤❤Thank you.
Pattern for the grid?
Apparently the grid comes included, pre-assembled
I don’t get it? That wasn’t crocheted by anyone unless AI did it? Who needs to buy new yarn anyone who is a knitter or crocheter has plenty to create the same affect and save $$. Show us some real crafty new never done before piece.
Obrigada!❤
You do it too fast ughhh viejaaa que trai 8888 años ¡¡¡¡¡
